FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR GRADUATE STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS

The Graduate School of Arts and Science (GSAS) is pleased to provide funding for student led initiatives designed to enhance the academic enrichment, professional development and social interests of GSAS graduate students.

What funding opportunities are available to GSAS Graduate Student Organizations?

  • Graduate Student Organization Grant (GSOG): GSOG awards are flat grants awarded on a semester by semester basis to GSAS Graduate Student Organizations (GSO's) within GSAS academic departments. The flat dollar amount awarded to each GSO is determined each semester by the amount the Graduate Student Organization previously spent during the proceeding award cycle. Moving forward, the flat grant award is made once during a semester and can be utilized by the GSO representatives up to the full amount awarded. New Graduate Student Organizations are initially awarded a nominal grant that can be increased during the academic year. GSOs will be required to resubmit an application every semester that they would like funding.

How can GSAS Graduate Student Organizations apply for the Graduate Student Organization Grant?

  • Application guidelines are currently being updated. Please check back at a later date for guideline information.
