NYU's internal deadline for the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarship is Friday, December 1, 2017.
The Trudeau Foundation supports Canadian scholars pursing research focused on one of four major themes: Human Rights and Dignity, Responsible Citizenship, Canada in the World, and People and Their Natural Environment. Awards are available at the Ph.D. level for full-time, first or second year doctoral candidates in the Humanities and Social Sciences. Eligible applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada enrolled at a foreign institution. The Trudeau foundation grants awards for up to three years of study and additional awards for research and travel related expenses. The Trudeau Foundation selects up to 15 scholars annually. Submission Instructions and Deadline
Applicants must submit a registration request form on the Trudeau Foundation Portal prior to completing an application. Once registered, applicants will receive an email to log onto the Online Application Portal where they download an electronic application form and complete it. Applicants should have all the additional necessary documents ready when they upload their completed application form.
Please note: Students must receive official nomination from NYU to apply for the Trudeau Scholarship. Students may not apply through the Trudeau Foundation at-large.
