The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarship competition is closed. The deadline to apply is January 5, 2021 at 11:59 pm EST.
The Trudeau Foundation supports Canadian scholars pursuing research focused on one of four major themes: Human Rights and Dignity, Responsible Citizenship, Canada in the World, and People and Their Natural Environment. Awards are available at the Ph.D. level for full-time, first or second year doctoral candidates in the Humanities and Social Sciences. Eligible applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada enrolled at a foreign institution. The Trudeau foundation grants awards for up to three years of study and additional awards for research and travel related expenses. The Trudeau Foundation selects up to 15 scholars annually. Submission Instructions and Deadline
Applicants must submit a registration request form on the Trudeau Foundation Portal prior to completing an application. If you already have an account from a previous scholarship competition, you will need to register for a new account as the Foundation has implemented a new application portal this year.
