The Master's Award for Academic Achievement in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Sciences competition is open. The deadline for departments to submit nominations is Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
Awards valued at $500 will be given to the most distinguished master's thesis or final project in each discipline, as determined by the faculty on the Graduate School's Honors and Awards Committee. The recipients of this award will be acknowledged at the GSAS Master’s Convocation ceremony. To be eligible, the recipient's master’s degree must have been awarded in May 2016, September 2016, or January 2017.

Students must apply for this award through their department. Please contact your department about its own internal nomination process and deadline. Given the limited number of awards available, departments may not be able to nominate all students who are interested. All nominations must be submitted by the department administrator to firstname.lastname@example.org by the February 22 deadline.
