Formal requirements for the M.A. degree in I/O Psychology are the satisfactory completion of 36 points (at least 24 in residence at New York University) and either a written comprehensive examination or a master’s thesis. Students must earn a grade of at least B in all courses. The program may be completed on a part-time or full-time basis, providing that all course work and either a comprehensive exam or thesis are completed within a five-year period.
All students must complete the following:
THREE (3) foundation courses (9.0-credits) with a grade of B or better including:
PSYCH-GA 2016 Master’s Statistics
AND
PSYCH-GA 2032 Introduction to I/O Psychology
AND
PSYCH-GA 2067 Applied Research Methods
FOUR (4) core courses (12.0 credits) chosen from two core groups with a grade of B or better.
