H1N1 Flu Vaccines Available for Students

The NYU Student Health Center (SHC) has a number of doses of the H1N1 flu vaccine for interested students. GSAS students who meet the following criteria should visit the SHC.

  • Students who have underlying medical conditions
  • Students who are under age 24
  • Students who are pregnant or caregivers of young children

Holiday Food Drive

In partnership with NYU's Holiday Food Drive, the Graduate School of Arts and Science will conduct a Holiday Food Drive to assist those in need. Food collected will be donated to the Grand Street Settlement, Grand Central Neighborhood Social Services Corporation and the Food Bank for New York City. For a list of desired food items, click here.

Free Thanksgiving Brunch!

Staying in the city for Thanksgiving? Enjoy a FREE meal with fellow graduate students. In exchange, we ask that each person bring an item to donate (canned goods, clean clothes, unused toiletries).

Thanksgiving Community Service

Interested in Volunteering on Thanksgiving Day at a local Church? In the spirit of giving and appreciation, NYU graduate students are going to help out St. Francis Xavier's Thanksgiving event. Students are asked to help clean food preparation and service space after volunteers serve those in need.
