Geographic boundaries should not serve as barriers to advanced learning and inquiry. Depending on their interests and program, students have opportunities to pursue their studies in many locations throughout the world. NYU's facilities and programs outside the U.S., and affiliated programs with prestigious foreign institutions, extend GSAS's reach and resources around the globe. This is a distinct advantage for students, giving them the flexibility and freedom to explore many more interdisciplinary and intercultural fields.
