GRE and TOEFL Test-Takers in France

Educational Testing Service (ETS) has cancelled some GRE and TOEFL test appointments in France due to the terrorist attacks and the state of emergency declared throughout the country. ETS has contacted those test takers and will attempt to reschedule appointments within the next 30 days.

If you are one of the test takers affected by this matter, please be sure to submit your complete application (except for the test scores) by the deadline date for your program. Please write a brief explanation of why your test scores are late and upload it to one of the Additional Information pages of your online application. Also, please be sure to send official test scores to GSAS when they are available.


Spring 2016

To apply for admission for the spring 2016 term, use the Spring 2016 online application.

The online application will only allow one application submission per login name within an application cycle (the 2015 application cycle is summer 2015, fall 2015, and spring 2016). For example, if you apply for admission to the fall 2015 term and wish to apply again for the spring 2016 term, you must create a new login name (usually an email address) to the Embark system. However, if you applied for the fall 2014 term, and now wish to apply for the spring 2016 term, you will be able to use your same login name since it is a new application cycle.

Summer and Fall 2016

To apply for admission for the summer or fall 2016 term, use the Summer and Fall 2016 online application. Information on applying for Spring 2017 will be available in late July.

The online application will only allow one application submission per login name within an application cycle (the 2016 application cycle is summer 2016, fall 2016, and spring 2017). For example, if you apply for admission to the fall 2016 term and wish to apply again for the spring 2017 term, you must create a new login name (usually an email address) to the Embark system. However, if you applied for the fall 2015 term, and now wish to apply for the fall 2016 term, you will be able to use your same login name since it is a new application cycle.
